As I approach the end of my ‘Sojourn’ at SCMHRD, I am time and again transferred back down the memory lane. I remember the petrified me, who arrived 8 days after college had started to find that people had already made groups, and I had been excluded from most of them thanks to my late arrival… I remember people studying day in and day out, and the ‘poor’ me hesitating to ask these busy bodies how to get things done…. I remember being silenced in classes by the sheer brilliance of my peers and wondering how could I ever get stuck in a place like this… And then Miracles happened!
I became acquainted, slowly and gradually, with a group of people who couldn't have been more unlike each other.... There were some who loved to pfaff, to others who went solely by logic.... Some who worked hard to others who couldn't care less about hard work.... Some were the fashionable types while others were the athletic variety... From the shortest to the tallest... From the thinnest to the broadest... This bunch of people was one group who could never have gotten together!
But fortunately they did.... And what did result?... Chaos you say, Or do you say Bliss?.... Well, partly both... From random on the spot trips to the most exotic and unknown places... To the endless discussions on why Food should not be had in the mess and ordered from outside... From laughing at each other for being the fools we are... To being there whenever needed... From bitching about each other (often in the other person's presence) to supporting the virtues of the 'Family' member in front of others... We have done it all!
From organizing Birthday Parties (where the cake has been cut even before others could arrive), to completely forgetting Birthdays... From lavish Presents to Chindhi stuff gifted aeons after the occasion, We are barely perfect... But I think we are together, what none of us individually can ever be!
Here is to all the great people who made this college bearable,and these last two years the most enjoyable period of my life... This 'FAMILY' rocks!

---Meet Mungeri babua, the official 'backlog topper', who was once, a very long time ago (pre-NEEV) quite well liked and 'acceptable' in the batch. He has seen his popularity ratings plummet and hit rock bottom since then. This 'fake Maharashtrian-fake Frenchman' who's claim to fame is supposedly this very 'blog', the nonexistent on-now-off-again HR club (Tatva) and the SHRM network THINKS he is uber cool and sophisticated....!
---Then we have Miss 'am-always-dressed-up-ready-to-go' shopping addict, 20-something, spoilt brat. This Jharkhandi girl (read: Giridih district) with nice hair and a peculiar sense of humour THINKS she is witty, THINKS she dresses stylishly,THINKS she is funny...well i dont quite agree! :P
---Meet Wierdo no.3-AK with his sarcastic, caustic humour and quick-witted remarks is the only member of the family who is ..scratch ..WAS.. just about ok...!
Together they form the Adams Family..!! Naughty, crazy, wacky..they are my ..well..2nd most fav family arnd ..!Love :)
N ladies n gentleman meet Shivangi Tyagi a.k.a Naughty Tygai (she earned this nickname after bein spotted doin 'naughty' things in class)..referred here as the Webster(wht?? why??)...the high priestess who cannot help but invite trouble by bein sarcastic...plz note the use of word 'love' at the end of her comments, tryin to project an image of sophistication but do not be fooled...U r a guest on the family post so i refrain from usin more colorful language...and i invite aashay and aditya to write a few words bout her....

I think one point that should be clarified here is that the very reason this family came together is because...well other people had families which did their best to try and exclude you and make you feel like an outcast. Boy, did I know what it felt like to be invisible. Having said that I'm glad this highly individualistic group of people did get together and create some amazing memories.
@ Webstar- She ignores some people even when her group isn't even present and then suddenly breaks into bouts of friendliness. "Caustic remarks and I'm just OK??"...Hmm maybe I'll be a lot nicer if you start following and commenting on my blog. (See Aashay, I can do shameless PR as well)
@ Shimonti- "Big bitch"??....Grrrrr...Back off!!
Now that Webstar has so graciously chosen to give such a stirring introduction about 'Famiglia' members, I think it is my turn to return the favour.
@ Webstar... a.k.a Notty Tyagi is a sub 5 feet entity with the gift of the gab, generously interspersed with swear words... It is difficult for her to hide her Eastern U P roots.... Her claim to fame is her selection as a 'Research Associate' in the Frenhc Teaching department headed by moi... Needless to say she failed miserably...Almost Bearable and Tolerable...Tyagi was bestowed by the Almighty with a single gift, that of wit, which she uses generously!
@ Shimonti- There are several issues with this female... Her name for instance... Simanti, Simonti, Shimantee, Shimawnty etc. Other than that madam is a disaster when she tries to be smart or cool... Always tries to coerce others into buying her food...This Bangladeshi immigrant (is the BJP listening?) has a signature self deprecatory style of humor which makes her nominally bearable...
