Those nights were long
Dark & Bleary
Struggle, I did
I fought & I defended
But twas too dark to see
And too cold to bear
I succumbed
I passed from this world to the netherworld
Strange sights....Ghastly sounds
Evil lurked, it seemed
In every nook and corner...
And then one day, I saw an orb
It came floating to me
And in it, I saw a speck of light
A Hope, that I am alive...
I broke free
I fought and I struggled
I Moved towards the light
It beckoned me...cajoled me...assured me...
And Now I am here...
Forever and Evermore...
The light that guides
Comes from within...
Return from the dead
I was one of them
Fight, I did
And Escaped I have!
