Books!

This semester has been an eventful semester in the sense that there has not been enough to keep me occupied on the academic front (with all the bunking), hence a substantial part is spent either in the NEEV room or lying on the bed and devouring novels. Here is a list of all the Novels that I have read this semester-

2. Midnight Diaries- Boris Yeltsin
3. War of the World- Niall Fergusson
4. Mao- Jonathan Spence
5. Cosa Nostra- John Dickie
6. From Beirut to Jerusalem- Thomas Friedman
7. Midnight Shift- Stephen King

Needless to say, each one of these is a masterpiece in itself... From the tragedy of Bhutto's life to the scheming machinations of Yeltsin's brain... From the pitched battles, the Gulags and the concentration camps of Niall to the unbelievable efficacy of the Mafia... From Mao's stalinist thought to the goosebump inducing horror tales of King...

I, for one, completely believe in the adage that Books are the Best Teachers...!
